In the year 1403 (2024–2025), a total of 979,923 births were registered,
marking a 7.4% decrease compared to the same period last year.
Singleness rates among rural girls are higher than among urban girls;
however, for men, the trend is reversed, with urban boys having higher
singleness rates than those in rural areas.
The age group of 20 to 24 shows the highest willingness to have children, while the 45 to 49 age group shows the lowest.
Academics should focus on research related to population, childbearing,
and marriage to help address the country's population challenges.
