Introduction

The health research center at Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences was opened in 2019 with the goal of production, development, and promotion of knowledge and technology in the field of economic, social and environmental determinants of health, cardiovascular, infectious and behavioral diseases, and prevention of drug abuse and other high-risk behaviors, pharmaceutical sciences, sleep disorders and health system research. Notably, several research projects have been implemented in the search and experienced experts and faculty members have been utilized at the center.

Currently, the research institute has eight research centers, as follows:

· Research center for environmental determinants of health

· Research center for social development and improvement of health

· Research center for the prevention of drug abuse

· Research center for sleep disorders

· Research center for infectious diseases

· Cardiovascular research center

· Pharmaceutical sciences research center

· Research center for behavioral diseases
