"Retinopathy": The Most Common Ocular Complication in Diabetic Patients

Diabetic retinopathy is the most common diabetic eye disease, which is caused by changes in the retinal blood vessels.
If you have diabetes, you should have a comprehensive dilated eye exam
at least once a year. Keep in mind that diabetic retinopathy can
progress without any symptoms and put you at risk of vision loss.
