Every
year, Scopus Institute and Stanford University announce the top 2% of
the world's scientists, and nine faculty members of Kermanshah Medical
School are included in the latest list. The list includes scientists
whose research and articles have had a high impact and received several
citations by other researchers. It is prepared in collaboration with
Stanford University professors using Scopus database.
The
procedure of this ranking is based on a series of scientific indicators
that include the number of references, the number of published
articles, and other indicators. In this evaluation, scientists are
categorized based on different specializations and disciplines (for
example, engineering, medical sciences, computer sciences, etc.). The
purpose of this ranking is to identify people who not only have high
scientific productions, but whose research has had a significant impact
on the scientific community.
